Tola Wewe - Adetola Wewe was born some 58 Years ago to the family of Chief Tanimowo Wewe in Sabomi town, Ese-Odo local government area of Ondo State. He attended Government Teachers college, Ikorodu, University of Ife, Ile-Ife Formerly (Obafemi Awolowo University) and University of Ibadan for his Teachers Grade II certificate, B.A Hons in Fine Art and Masters of Art in visual Arts between 1975 and 1986 respectively.

Tola Wewe was a teacher  of Fine Arts at Teachers College Igboegunrin, Ondo State between 1984 and 1985, a lecturer at Adeyemi College of Education Ondo from 1987-1991. He practiced Journalism from 1991-1992 when he worked with Daily Times of Nigeria and Exchequer Communication Nigeria Limited as Senior Artist and Art Editor respectively between 1993 and 1995. Tola Wewe was General Manager Signature Art Gallery, Lagos. Sometime in 1995, he took a decision to depend fully on his creativity, talent and trainings by moving into full time Arts practice and has since been doing that.
